Our history

Hotel management technology

Jonas Chorum has been developing hotel management technology since 1990. Formerly known as MSI Solutions, we built one of the first true cloud property management systems, back when “the cloud” was still a topic of discussion rather than industry standard.

Mergers & acquisitions

In 2016, we were acquired by Jonas Software, a division of Constellation Software Inc (TSX: CSU). And then in 2019, almost thirty years after our founding, we changed our name to Jonas Chorum to better reflect our goal of building unified, innovative software for modern hoteliers.
